Description:
o The Apprentice Operator – Passive (AO-P) shall perform 24/7/365 operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and passive geolocation technique available.
Qualifications: 
Qualifications:
o Two (2) years of operational experience, within the last five (5) years with NSA, one of the Service Cryptologic Elements, or another government intelligence agency (as a government employee or as a contractor) in the following: (U) MINIMALLY ACCEPTABLE: Experience conducting RF collection and/or Direction-Finding operations
o The following certifications and experience are highly desired: Geolocation Qualification Course, SCE Collection Operator Certification
o The following technologies and experience are highly desired: Real-time RF COM INT collection (Airborne, Space borne, Terrestrial, Manual, automatic, and/or synthetic Time/Frequency Difference of Arrival (T/FDOA) geolocation operations of COM INT emitters
o Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in one of the following languages is highly desired: Arabic – Levantine (AP), Arabic – Yemeni (AU), Arabic- IRAQI (DG), Arabic -Maghrebi (AM), Persian Farsi (PF), Pashto (PU), Russian (RU), Chinese – Mandarin (CM), Korean (KO), Chechen (CE) and Somali (SM)
o Successful completion of the initial Passive certification program is required upon initial assignment for continued retention
